I was a bit confused as to who the romantic hero was judde to end up being and worried that one of the two men Impeessions was interested in would turn out not only to not be the hero but the villain, because I really liked them both. There is an old secret, lots of greedy people, guns and excitement but also beautiful interesting and involving descriptions of the house, life in the town, family relationships.
