I really liked this book! Jan 02, Megan rated it really liked it. But I didn’t hate it, and I think I’m kind of reeling from that because I have read a lot of really shitty romance novels in the past few months that I absolutely hated and felt were violently misogynistic rapey garbage.

HDU: A Novel by India Lee

I didn’t even realize how absorbed I was in this novel until I looked at the clock realized it was past midnight, I hadn’t put this book down for a second, I forgot to eat dinner, and I needed to shower and get lde butt in bed so I wouldn’t snooze through my alarm clock the next morning. The problem is that Ama This book was ridiculous, and not necessarily in a lfe way?

Like flies on crap. I’d say this was a good book but I enjoyed the first part better anyway. Jun 14, A. Ugh, Casey, and Ian got irritating really quickly, and Megan had always been irritating, and I didn’t love Dylan the way I should have. Don’t get me wrong, I liked her from the very first chapter, but I liked her even more the more I got to know her character. Liam’s brother, for one. This book is just pure entertainment. And she also lists out a bunch of other demands like she’s the boss of him or something.

Then, she became an overnight sensation after negotiating a contract to stage a romance with Hollywood’s favorite womanizer, going from moderating the pages of HDU to gracing them daily. And meanwhile we’ve got the lovely Liamanda relationship going on and it’s actually funny to think about how much Liam has changed since we first m “Don’t let anything change you.

Llee to write a review or add a video review. But of course, our not-thinking-at-all heroine all but goes deaf to this wonderful nugget of wisdom and chases after bad karma. It just didn’t seem like real life to me, it read much more like the setup to a bad romcom than something that would ever happen in the real world. See, Amanda is one of us. I just wanted to see a little more of Liamanda to be honest, it’s just never enough when it comes to them.

It goes deeper into the drama of the industry and is for an older set as our lead, Amanda Nathan, is in her twenties – specifically the early, post-grad twenties where you feel a lot of pressure to do shit with your life hi, Amanda Sounds amazing!

Make me proud that she could figure out ndu she wanted to inddia in life and that she got to accomplish it. Jan 28, Rachna R rated it liked it.

Other highs and lows of crazy, glamorous, devastating and victorious nature follow in Amanda’s celebrity life. The characters I loved, and loved to hateare all back and better than ever. They were able to prove that Casey plagiarised and bring her down. I just wonder if the A 3.

I couldn’t feel the real chemistry between Liam and Amanda till the later half of the book.

Even if he did ruin a lot of things for Liam, he was so great in the story line. ALSO view spoiler [there is no way that video Ian made would have been actually pulled from the Internet entirely.

Let me just roll my eyes for the rest of forever. There’s seriously so much drama going on in this book and I love it! Maybe this was supposed to be a happy ending or whatever, but it just made me depressed.

21st Century Once Upon a Time’s: How Dare You?! HDU by India Lee ~ Review

I don’t have a real problem with it. So that felt stupid and random.

Honestly, props to India Lee for managing to create an extremely unlikable character that she makes the girl we’re all rooting for well, I’m rooting for a saint, considering all the dirty deeds she had to do in this book. There are a couple of mildly graphic sex scenes, for those who care. It was actually, a rather enjoyable and gripping read. The author really kept me guessing with him.

You must have a sufficient amount of Vitamin D. I guess I’ll write that in my head, where despite everyone and everything Liamanda would be there and he’d show that he has the girl hdj his acting was memorable!
